When we look for vineyard partners, our goal is simple: to work with the best sites we can find. We are drawn to distinctive vineyards — places with character, consistency, and fruit that speaks clearly of where they are grown.

Just as important are the growers behind those sites. We value farmers we believe in — people committed to precision, care, and long-term stewardship of the land. For us, sourcing fruit is not transactional. It is the beginning of a relationship built on trust and shared standards.

Each vineyard carries its own identity. We approach every site with respect for what makes it unique.

G2 Vineyard sits in the heart of the Willow Creek District, a site widely recognized for producing some of Paso Robles’ most sought-after fruit. Defined by steep, limestone-rich hillsides and dramatic exposures, G2 has earned a reputation for both intensity and precision. The terrain is rugged and demanding, requiring meticulous farming and careful attention throughout the growing season.

The vineyard is farmed by Bill Gibbs, one of the region’s most respected growers, whose commitment to detail and long-term stewardship has helped establish G2 as one of Willow Creek’s benchmark sites. His work across the district has consistently supported wines of remarkable depth and structure, and we feel incredibly fortunate to be sourcing fruit from this vineyard.

We source Grenache from Block 16, an intensely steep northwest-facing slope. The exposure moderates the afternoon sun while preserving freshness, allowing the fruit to develop concentration without losing balance. It is a site that demands respect, and we are proud to work with a vineyard of such distinction.

Paper Street Vineyard sits high in the Willow Creek District of Paso, where elevations climb over 1,700 feet, and the land remains rugged and difficult to tame. The steep limestone and shale hillsides make this one of the most challenging vineyard sites in Paso. The soils are fractured and shallow, and the slopes are difficult to work, requiring an extensive amount of precise, hands-on farming. These tough conditions place constant stress on the vines, but the result is fruit with natural concentration, freshness, and character.

The vineyard was planted by the Dusi family, whose name has been woven into Paso’s wine history since the 1920s. Paper Street takes its name from the fact that, for years, this patch of land existed only on maps—an untamed expanse that few would dare to farm.

We source Grenache and Clairette Blanche from Paper Street. The Grenache comes from Block 9, a head-trained planting on a southeast-facing slope, while the Clairette Blanche is sourced from Block 4 on a north-facing slope. We feel truly lucky to be working with the Dusi family and a site that represents both the difficulty and the beauty of farming in Paso Robles.

G2N Vineyard is located in the heart of the Willow Creek District, just a stone’s throw away from the legendary Saxum James Berry Vineyard. The site sits in a cool pocket tucked between Paso’s rolling hills, which slows ripening and traditionally results in later picks. This extended hang time brings depth, freshness, and balance to the fruit.

This vineyard is the newest venture for Bill Gibbs, one of Paso’s most respected growers, whose work has supported multiple 100-point wines. In addition to G2N, Bill also farms G2 and Heart Stone, further establishing his reputation for precision and excellence across Willow Creek.

We source Syrah from a block planted in 1998. The fruit is layered, lean, savory, and fresh—a true reflection of the cool pocket where it grows. Sharing vineyard rows with producers like Torrin, Turtle Rock, Riise, and Jacob Toft makes the opportunity to work with G2N all the more special. Being the youngest brand in the vineyard, we feel lucky to be working alongside so many great names and have the opportunity to work with Bill Gibbs and his pristine vineyards.

Lambooy Vineyard sits near the western edge of the Templeton Gap, just 11 miles from the Pacific Ocean. The gap acts as a natural conduit, pulling cool air and fog inland from the ocean and funneling it into the surrounding vineyards. This influence slows ripening, creates large diurnal temperature swings, and allows the fruit to develop complexity while retaining natural acidity.

Before vines, this property was planted to walnuts. Owner Mark Lambooy began his farming career as a dairy farmer in Southern California, then moved to the Central Valley where he established a pistachio orchard. In 2014, he and his family settled in Templeton; after several years of walnut farming, they redeveloped the land into a vineyard planted to Rhône and Bordeaux varietals.

We are receiving Mourvèdre from a north-facing slope, a notoriously late-ripening variety. The conditions here give the grapes incredible ripeness and depth without sacrificing freshness or balance.

Though relatively new, Lambooy has quickly established itself as a superstar vineyard, already attracting an impressive roster of winemakers. We are excited to see how this site continues to evolve over the next few years and feel fortunate to be working with such a promising vineyard.

Armory Vineyard lies in the Adelaida District of Paso, a rugged site defined by limestone soils and dramatic day-to-night temperature swings (diurnal shift). Just 11–12 miles from the Pacific Ocean, the vineyard benefits from the marine influence that brings cooler evenings and helps preserve the freshness and acidity in the fruit, gracing us with natural structure and balance in the wine as an outcome.

The vineyard is farmed by Will John, a third-generation farmer taking on the challenge of dry farming here for the first time. Attempting this in one of Paso’s warmest AVAs takes real guts—the vines are pushed to their limits as they search deep into the fractured limestone for water and sustenance. The stress is immense, but the payoff is a wine of striking concentration and character.

We source Cabernet Sauvignon from Block 15, an east-facing block that is traditionally the last pick in the vineyard. The Cabernet here is fruit-forward and fresh, with incredible purity and a true reflection of the site.
